Agency Update - Releasing the Shared Key
"Try Migration API" released for all admin users
We have reached our Q4 goal of releasing the Migration API in a bigger way, thanks to a "Try Migration API" flow that we introduced last week.
Now all admin users can make a first request to the Migration API. We are measuring interactions to understand intent to use, and get an idea of the scale we will have when we can open the API up to the public without requiring a specific key to use it.
Updates from last week:
Release "Try Migration API" flow for admin users to make a first request with a demo key
✅Thanks to the amazing Agency squad for making this happen, as well as big thanks to Mehdi and Michel and to the support team for making it possible to release this late in the year.
Additionally, we released
New core api endpoint to move update requests from published documents to migration releases
- Added comprehensive tracking to Migration Releases screen and Try Migration API
- Investigated implementation of support for legacy slices in Migration API and fixed a few validation bugs we uncovered in the process
Goal for the next 2 weeks:
Release support for Legacy Slices in Migration API
- Releasing this will help us cover the bulk update use case that many current import/export users have
Start frontend modifications on API & Security settings screen to include the permanent token for Migration API
