New challenges for Migration Releases

Last week, thanks to strong support from Piotr, we got closer to launching Migration Releases for POST requests. We came across a larger issue with PUT requests, which unfortunately delays us from being able to allow one-click publishing of updated documents via migration releases in some cases.

Updates from last week:

Complete testing and fixing UI bugs for Migration Releases ✅

Implement a 1000 document limit for the Migration Release v1 ❌

Almost but not quite made this goal, we are finalizing code review on the 1000 doc limit in the next days.

Figure out how to implement a token-based auth for Migration API ✅

Scoped a first solution, discussed it with Seb from the Platform team and will be starting the implementation towards the end of this week.
