Progress last week

This past week, the team worked on several items, making a new step toward our quarter goals.

Version 1.19.1 released

• Supporting Next.js 14
• Released a bunch of small improvements on the repository creation flow, removing small friction and distraction.

Other progress made

• Finalized design for the onboarding in-app guide : 5 minutes to render a first page
• Finalized the work on the core API to get ready to interact with environments in Slice Machine

Goals of the week

Onboarding

• Start onboarding in-app guide "5 minutes to render a first page", to get to a testable version internally
• Plan and schedule live testing with research

Rename/Delete Slices variations

• Release Slice Machine v1.20.0 including the rename and delete of Slice variations

Collaboration

• Start QA on our first version that lets users push to the environment of their choice directly from Slice Machine
• Design the creation of personal sandboxes in the repository settings
