PB Update - New Search

tl;dr

Last week we worked on the following items:

Media Library

Released the cropper

Migrated 1000 repos (also successfully rolled them back)

Added 2 more end-to-end tests

Release new search on one of our repos on staging

Custom labels

Shipped the first version of custom labels and did a quick PoC to check the complexity of inline/text based React RTF components which we want to use for commenting and to improve initial implementation

Integration fields

First version of an endpoint for Integration fields that we can use to retrieve catalogue items

Focus for this week

Media Library Migration

Migrate at least 10000 personal plan repos (not rolled back)

Media Library Search

Start testing the new search in staging

Add the ability to enable OpenSearch for specific repos on prod (right not we can only enable search on a specific cluster)

Ability to see a highlight on a search-term (filename) in staging

Integration fields

Testable version of integration fields in Page builder (available in staging)

Design/UXR

Search:

Study goal:

Evaluate how users interact with the new Search in Document list & identify any problems they encounter when using it

Design + concept evaluation with our users continues. We aim to finish the sessions and share the results and next steps at the end of the week

Live editing

Study goal:

Understand the magnitude of previously identified blockers on a larger scale & to identify any additional blockers that may be influencing adoption

The survey has 50 responses, we need at least ~50 more. We have identified a new cohort of users that we are sending the survey to.
