Last Week's Goals

:

SRE:

- Set up the database in staging and prod, add monitoring for perf tests (db resources, req. perf.) ✅

- Understand how one repository (mystique) is still able to go through the rate limiter. ✅

Archi:

- Define the DB performance baseline ❗️(not done - we want to add monitoring in our application layer. We push to later iteration)

- Estimate the performance of the new database ❗️(70% - remaining work pushed to this week).

- We keep progressing on spikes to clarify the timeline ✅

- Start migration of two entities (we start this week but we will close in 2 two weeks) ✅

Other:

- Integration Field for Shopify that can’t display more than 50 items ✅

- Code review for agency squad ❗️

Goals for This Week

:

First Release in Prod

- Finish the migration of 4 key entities: Shared Slices, Documents, Releases, and Custom Types. This includes both the migration script and the data layer.

- Have in production a first scope of our migration for at least the Custom Types entities.

Database Metrics

- Finalize and adopt standardized performance metrics for our database to ensure optimal operation.

Improving our tests

- Revisit our 'definition of done' to integrate comprehensive testing.

- Complete our test suites with more examples of repositories from real users to catch data corruption in our unit tests.
