We keep progressing on the migration of our main database to allow us to scale one of our internal Core APIs, the document API. This API manages operations on the documents such as creating a document, publishing a document, etc.

Last Week's Goals:

First Release in Prod

- We shipped in prod the first 2 key entities (out of 7): Releases, and Custom Types. This includes both the migration script and a middleware to connect to different databases.

Database Metrics

- Built a dashboard to follow our main database performance metrics.

This week will start migrating 2 other entities: Documents & Locales.

Risk reduction for the migration:

- Explore ways to detect ahead of the final migration all data discrepancies we may have in our database.
