tl;dr

This week, the team will have two major goals and one minor goal:

- We updated how the platform manages the connections to databases, and we want to monitor and ensure non-regression in production.

- Have another dry-run migration of repositories and set a new baseline of successfully migrated repositories. Our target is to have at least 80% of repositories successfully migrated.

- Complete the migration of users above their plan's limits to a plan that fits their usage better.

Key Milestone

For the last two weeks, the team has been working on establishing a simultaneous connection to our legacy and next database. They are currently deploying it in production. We will monitor the platform to ensure no regression. 

Now that the system can simultaneously write the same document in the legacy and new databases, we focus on comparing and verifying the integrity of identical data sets before switching to the new system.

We will use the dry run system to make the comparison. Our target is to have at least 80% of repositories successfully migrated. It will set a new baseline and progress over the week.

Upgrading users above their plan's limits

This week, we will complete our first wave of manual repositories upgrade. It should be our action this month. It is only about repositories having to make reasonable jumps:

- Starter -> Small

- Starter -> Medium

- Small -> Medium

- Medium -> Platinum

The other jumps have until the beginning of March to optimize their consumption or migrate.

On another front, we will start studying how to support these upgrades in the product and how we want to manage limitations in the product.
