tl;dr

This week, the team will work on two fronts:

- Running asset migration to enable search in the media lib.

- Finish adapting our publication system to our new database and progress enough to publish a document.

- Start refactoring the core API.

Supporting the release of the media lib

This week, we want to take one extra day to complete the preparation work, so that we can initiate the migration process on Tuesday. We stay embedded in the Page Builder team, monitoring the migration.

PrismicDB Migration

In supporting the migration API to scale, we are still focusing on the PrismicDB migration. Last week, we wanted to rework our publication system to support our new database. Also, the team made a significant effort to estimate the remaining tasks for the migration. We now have more clarity.

This week, the team should be able to close the refactored publication system:

- Adapt bulk actions to the new publication system

- Test the publication

- Handle update release ref after publishing a release.

We will parallel update the core API endpoint (Create document, Update draft title, UpdateStatus -> publish/archived/staged, etc.). This refactoring work should end the week after.
