Progress last week

This past week, the team worked on several items, making a new step toward our quarter goals

Version 1.18.0 released

🌟 Satisfaction survey

• Add a new satisfaction survey popup for advanced repositories in order to get feedbacks on your experience with Slice Machine.

🐛 Bug fixes

• We fixed an issue when converting a custom type to page type that doesn't have a slice zone
• We fixed an issue with modals after creating a page type when adding a slice

Other progress made

• The team made important progress in crafting our vision and first milestones for the collaboration topic. To be validated this week.
• The team made important progress in crafting our vision and first milestone for the onboarding topic. Flow is validated, final UI in progress.
• The team started implementing Slice variation delete and rename alongside Slice builder page redesign.

Goals of the week

Release version 1.19.0

• Bug fixed on rich text labels overridden on save
• Bug fixed on push fail when pushing too many screenshots
• Fixing a lot of small frictions and exit points in the current onboarding flow. The goal is to make sure that every step of the onboardind has a simple action, no exit or distraction, and a clear copy. List of fixes here.
• Design improvements on how to display the Slice Variations, preparing for introducing the delete and rename.

Start rename/delete variation feature

• This week the team wants to implement the rename and delete feature to be released the next week.

Validate vision on Collaboration project

• This week the team wants to validate our vision, plan and first milestones on the collaboration topic with all involved stakeholders, and get ready to ship the first milestone.

Validate design on onboarding topic

• This week the team wants to validate the UI of our in-app onboarding guide and start the Milestone1.
